GreenCare for Children is committed to maintaining your internet privacy. You may freely browse the entire GreenCare site without telling us who you are and without revealing any personal information. You will be asked to create an account and provide contact information in order to: 1) take the on-line GreenCare pledge worksheet to become a GreenCare Provider; 2) participate in the forums; 3) request assistance and or make inquiries through “Ask GreenCare”; or 4) sign-up for the GreenCare electronic newsletter and announcements.
Information We Collect: If you choose to provide us with personal information by creating an account or by requesting the electronic newsletter, that information will be maintained in a database that will only be accessible by the GreenCare principals or their website contractors. The information provided to GreenCare will be used to assist you in becoming and maintaining a ‘green’ child care facility and in providing you with ongoing education and information. We will not disclose, sell or transfer any personal information to a third party unless required by law.
GreenCare User Account
In order to complete the GreenCare Pledge Worksheet on-line, you must register by creating a GreenCare User Account. This password protected account allows you to save your work session and return later to complete the worksheet. You will be asked to provide contact information, including facility name, user name, email address, mailing address and telephone number.
E-Newsletter & Announcement Registration
If you sign up to receive the GreenCare e-newsletter, you may also receive email messages about features on our website, promotions, events, or other information that may be of interest to you. You may unsubscribe to this service at any time.
Ask GreenCare & GreenCare Forums
In order to request information, assistance or to make an inquiry via the website, or to post comments to our forums, you will need to register on the site by providing your name, general location (city/state) and email address. Forums are public communications, viewable by any site visitor, and you should use caution in disclosing any personal information on the forum postings.
Correcting Information or Unsubscribing. If your personal/contact information changes or if you wish to have your information removed from our systems, this can be done by either correcting the information within your User Account, or by sending a written or email request to GreenCare for Children (see Contact Information). If you no longer wish to receive the GreenCare e-newsletter or our announcements, you may “unsubscribe” by sending an email or mailing a request.
