GreenCare For Children Pledge Worksheet

Become a GreenCare Provider!

To become a GreenCare Provider, Parent or Community Member, you must pledge to uphold a minimum of 18 of the 25 Standards, including the 6 Required Standards, by checking the “YES” box for these Standards.

For each GreenCare Standard, you can check one of two boxes:

YES for each Standard you already do or will do immediately to become a GreenCare Provider. 

Steps to Yes if you cannot meet the Standard at this time but are willing to change your practices to meet the Standard.  Note: you will have to identify and take action steps before you can change your checkmark to “YES”.

Identify your Action Steps: If you cannot meet a Standard at this time but want to work toward achieving it, check “Steps to Yes” and then go to the Action Steps text box on that page and write in what you need to do in order to meet that Standard.  You determine your own action steps and timeline (some examples are provided). 

Once you’ve completed your action steps and can meet all the standards necessary to qualify as a GreenCare Provider (18 out of 25, including the six required Standards), log back into your worksheet and change your “Step to Yes” boxes to “Yes”!  

Getting Started....

Before taking the Pledge, you will be asked to Register, by providing your name, organization, and contact information to create a password-protected account. Creating an account will allow you to save your work and return to the Pledge worksheet at your convenience. 

Take as long as you need to complete the worksheet, and be sure to take advantage of the resources and information available on the website, including the FAQs and GreenCare moderated forums.  If you are still unsure about a Standard or have questions, log onto Ask GreenCare and we’ll get back to you with an answer or suggestion. 

Options for Working

You may print each page (see print page icon at the top of each page) as you go if you would like a hard copy of the pledge or you want your Action Steps handy.  If you prefer to work off-line, print the PDF version of the worksheet and either mail it to GreenCare when completed (see PDF for mailing instructions) or come back to the electronic worksheet and enter your answers.
